Thrifty Ice Cream gets a refresh
Working with the internal Rite Aid team, we collaborated on setting a new look and feel for how Thrifty shows up in digital. Keeping with the brand’s nostalgia, the new look was a modern update that felt clean and refreshing while harkening back to its 1940’s roots. Fun, fresh and with a lot of charm.
I provided art direction and strategy for brand visuals, email and social channels as well as successfully launching a video game experience in Meta.
Thrifty Insta/FB AR game
For the new seasonal flavor, we pitched a fun AR video game in Meta reels. Customers could play live and share their cone and snowflake catch scores and compete against their friends. Activation had the highest engagement rate for that month and got customers excited to try the new flavor. It was frequently sold out in Rite Aid stores!
